Delicious & Healthy:: Summertime Smoothie Recipe
It’s summertime and that means warm weather, bathing suits and cute sun dresses. It also means shedding some of the winter layers, including the few extra lbs. that managed to stay put. I love this time of year as I always feel extra motivated to be healthy. In our household we have been eating extremely clean for the past few months. My husband is down almost 30 lbs. and looks amazing. Lately for lunch I have been juicing fresh fruit and veggies and then blending it into a smoothie. It’s so refreshing, delicious and good for you too. I’m already looking forward to lunch today. Here is my version of what I like to call my Green Goodness Smoothie.
Juice all of the fruits and veggies in a juicer, with the exception of the banana
Juice from the fruits and veggies. You can stop here and enjoy or continue on to make your smoothie.
Pour your fresh juice you just made, banana chunks and a handful of ice into a blender and blend.
