My Office, Where I Come to be Inspired

So a while back I promised I would post photos of my office once it was completed.  Well I finally got around to photographing my office and uploading the files to my computer.

When I was thinking of how I wanted my office to look, I knew it had to be a place that was just for me.  I wanted a chic, girly, Parisian office so I decided on pinks, black and white to achieve the look.

Some pieces I already had, and others were new additions or refurbished.  I am now addicted to finding furniture at thrift stores and giving it a new life.  I love how it all turned out.  The only thing missing is a chandelier and I’m still on the hunt for one.  I’m thinking I may need to take it into my own hands and do a DIY!  Enjoy wandering through my office.

This was the inspiration for my office:

The finished office.  I did take before pictures, but now I can’t find them anywhere…sorry.

My desk area.

Givenchy sketches Original Givenchy sketches my husband got me for my birthday. He knows me too well!

A well stocked desk!

My comfy couch where I get caught up on all of my fashion magazines.  I went to the discount fabric store and purchased pink corduroy and had it made into new cushion covers.  This couch used to have a sage green slipcover on it.  The striped pillow is another one I had made with fabric I found at the discount fabric store.

This is a vintage coffee table I found in Manhattan Beach which holds my reading materials and fresh flowers, always.

Paintings found at a local vintage shop.  This cabinet was a $150 thrift store purchase.  I had it lacquered pink and found new hardware.  I’m in love.

My office isn’t complete without a pair of Red Soles! These are a favorite pair my darling supportive husband got for me a few years ago. They live on top of my favorite fashion books.

Normally the rack is full of clothes but I cleaned it up!

Paris, Eiffel Tower My favorite picture I took when I was in Paris a few years ago.

My Christian Louboutin for Barbie.

Proenza Schouler PS1 Darling chair that we refurbished that sits next to my desk.  Ends up holding my handbags most of the time.
